Iced Mandarin Hibiscus Tea

Iced Mandarin Hibiscus Tea is the perfect, most refreshing iced tea to make for hot summer days. If you’re a fan of Iced Tango Passion Tea from Starbucks, you’ll love this easy homemade iced tea recipe! All you need is your favorite hibiscus tea blend, mandarin simple syrup, and ice!
Whether you’re headed out for a day at the pool or to a backyard barbecue, you’ll want to bring along this refreshing iced tea! It’s so easy to make, and it will save you time and money making this at home. You can also make it in your favorite iced tea glass or travel mug, and add a slice of orange to make it fancy.

- Electric tea kettle, or other method for boiling water
- Liquid measuring cup – use one with a spout for easier pouring over ice!
- Your favorite iced tea glass
- Reusuable straw
Ingredients
- Tazo Passion Tea, or your favorite hibiscus tea blend
- Mandarin Orange simple syrup – recipe here (or you can use store-bought)
Iced Mandarin Hibiscus Tea Recipe Variations
- For this recipe, I’m using Tazo Passion Tea bags, but you can also use Tazo Passion Tea concentrate.
- For the best flavor, it’s worthwhile to make your own homemade mandarin orange simple syrup (recipe here). Otherwise, you can purchase mandarin syrup online or at the store.
- Feel free to customize this iced tea recipe with your favorite tea!
Iced Mandarin Hibiscus Tea
Ingredients
- 8 oz hot water
- 1 Tazo Passion tea bag
- 1 tbs mandarin orange simple syrup *see recipe notes
- ice
Instructions
- Bring 8 oz water to a boil in an electric tea kettle (or your preferred method).
- Transfer the hot water to a liquid measuring glass with a spout, and add one tea bag.
- Set a timer and steep the tea in hot water for 15 minutes.
- Remove the tea bag, and pour the tea into a tall glass filled with ice.
- Add 1 tablespoon of mandarin simple syrup.
- Stir and add more ice if needed.
- Enjoy with your favorite reusable straw.
