Coquito Iced Latte

An iced latte made with espresso and Puerto Rican Coquito

Ingredients
  

  • 1-2 shots espresso
  • ice

For the Coquito Base

  • 4 oz evaporated milk
  • 4.5 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 5 oz cream of coconut
  • 4 oz coconut milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

To Make the Coquito Base

  • In a blender, combine the evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, cream of coconut, and coconut milk. Add the cinnamon and vanilla.
  • Blend on high speed for 1 minute, or until thoroughly combined.
  • Pour into a separate container to keep in the fridge. Set aside while making the espresso.

To Make the Coquito Iced Latte

  • Brew one or two shots of espresso. Set aside.
  • Add ice to a tall glass.
  • Pour 2 oz (1/4 cup) of Coquito Base into the glass with ice.
  • Slowly add the espresso.
  • Stir to combine. Add additional coconut milk and top with whipped cream if desired. Enjoy!
